SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Braking System Installation - 2012 Fiat 500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Fiat 500 we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO proportional supplemental braking system, part number SM99251.Here's a look at the main component of our braking system, the actuator is going to provide a proportional force on our brakes in our towed vehicle, what that means is while we are traveling when we apply the brakes on our RV our braking system in our towed vehicle will match the amount of force being applied. That will allow our towed vehicle to stop on it's own rather than the RV stopping both vehicles in turn saving the brakes on the RV. This is gonna be our G-force box, this will allow you to turn your system on and off. The black knob on the front will allow you to adjust the sensitivity of your braking system. Moving the knob up is less sensitive, the farther down you go the more sensitive the braking system gets.First thing we need to do to start our installation is we need to remove our front fascia. You're gonna have four star bolts that run across the top, we'll be using a T30 star bit. more

Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit Installation - 2012 Fiat 500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Fiat 500, we're going to be taking a look at showing you how to install the Road Master Stop Light Switch Kit, part number RM-751455. If you're needing an indicator light, in our case we have a south medal braking system that has to tie into the brake light switch. This vehicle does not have a brake light switch, so we have to get a stop light switch from Road Master. You're going to need the stop light switch in order to get your indicator light to work because there's no code slide on your brake pedal to tie into.This stop light switch here, but you can see this bracket where it comes up right to there. There should be a star bolt in there, however there wasn't. We had to put a bolt in it. more
